Ride Attendant

CANDIDATE MUST BE LEGALLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN CANADA AND MUST RESIDE IN ONTARIO IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR POSITION WITH OUR COMPANY

Summary

As a front-line employee, you will have a lot of interactions with guests. Ride Attendants operate and ensure that guests follow safety precautions on all rides. You will have the responsibility for the safety of all guests on your ride and this requires someone who is mature and confident. Centreville Amusement Park is a fantastic place for anyone who is looking for a workplace that is in an outdoors environment. We employee many students looking for summer employment, which makes for a great experience to meet new friends. We provide a flexible work schedule, for all employees. We are company that wants our employees to succeed and have fun, by hosting staff BBQs, Semi Formal at the end of the season and we also have a ferry pass that allows employees to get to and from work and that can also be used at other attractions in Ontario.

Ride Supervisor

Job Duties:

 

  • Collect tickets and/or ensure proper/accurate passes are worn.
  • Ensure the maximum and minimum number of riders is adhered to at all times.
  • Ensure riders meet height requirements.
  • Explain safety procedures to riders.
  • Point out evacuation routes.
  • Ensure to follow operating procedures.
  • Ensure to follow opening closing checklist
  • Ensure passengers are secured safely.
  • Report any maintenance needed at ride.
  • Pull down safety bars, buckle seat belts, or secure harnesses.
  • Inspect equipment to detect wear and tear.
  • Stop vehicle and de-board passengers in case of emergencies.
  • Provide assistance to patrons entering and exiting ride.
  • Shut down ride if major repairs are needed.
  • Clean up debris around ride.
  • Keep an eye on patrons and their movements to ensure they are not in any danger.
  • Remove disorderly, obnoxious, or sick people from rides.
  • Enforce all safety regulations and stay current with safety rules and procedures.

Requirements:

 

  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Confidence and comfort in customer service and interacting with general public – including children,
  • Reliable, responsible and able to work as part of a team,
  • Enjoys working outdoors,
  • Ability to work under pressure,
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision,
  • On-the-job training will be provided

POSITION SUMMARY

*All New Hires must be available to work weekends and holidays*

This is a Full Time Seasonal Summer position. Candidates must be willing to commit to Full Time work for the entire summer.
