Centreville is now closed until the spring of 2026

Did you know? Welcome to the Heart of the Islands

Tucked away just a short ferry ride from downtown Toronto, Far Enough Farm is a beloved destination where urban buzz meets calm. Established in 1959, this idyllic farm sits in the heart of Centreville Amusement Park on Centre Island and offers free entry—making it a favourite for locals and visitors alike.

Over 40 Delightful Species

Far Enough Farm is nothing short of a live, breathing storybook. Over 40 species of friendly and exotic animals call this place their summer home—ranging from Mini Pot-Belly pigs, Cameroonian dwarf goats, alpacas, ponies, and mini donkeys to retired police horses, sheep, rabbits, chickens, peacocks, and ducks

You’ll find curious llamas, silky rabbits like the Lionhead and Flemish breeds, graceful horses such as Fjords and Clydesdales, and an array of vibrant birds—including peafowl, pheasants, and quirky Indian Runner ducks.

Summer at the Farm: A Sensory Delight

As summer unfolds, the farm comes alive. New arrivals spring into view throughout the season – our goat kids would love to see your kids and they give repeat visitors fresh faces to meet.

Why the Farm Matters

Far Enough Farm remains a beloved urban gem, often affectionately described as “just far enough” to escape the city’s hustle yet close enough for a spontaneous summer visit. At a time when many cherished green spaces face challenges, the farm has stood strong in the beautiful Toronto Islands Park —thanks to the community’s support and campaigns to keep it thriving.
